This cable connects the top display to the bottom board on the older DS. Older DS shown in photo on left.
If your hinges are broken on an older DS, check to see if this cable is good.
On the DS Lite and DS-I, this cable was replaced by a longer top screen cable. If you have a DS Lite or DS-I and this cable is damaged, you will need a new top screen, this cable will not work.
